Pianos Stocked

Courtney Pianos specialises in restoring and repolishing older pianos, mainly those manufactured between the 1890s and the 1930s; the age when arguably the finest accoustic pianos were produced.

We specialise in acquiring and refurbishing those pianos deemed to have the best potential in terms of tone and touch. Therefore the majority of the pianos we sell are made by the top 5 makers in the world – notably our favoured maker, Bechstein.

Visit our list of Current Stock for a description of the traditional and modern pianos currently available, including some examples of rental pianos.

Each of our traditional pianos is completely disassembled, and comprehensively restored in our workshops involving anything up to 200 man-hours of painstaking work in order to produce an instrument restored to its finest original condition, designed to last for decades.  The majority are also repolished, but we do also sell pianos which we don't repolish if the casework is in good condition.  Please ask for further details.
