Upright Piano Cabinet Styles: Post-WWI (c.1915-1930)
Styles Becoming more streamlined, without decoration, 'Truss-style' columns replaced with square tapering styles, Art Nouveau styles no longer produced, In the 1930s, panelling in top & bottom doors gradually ceased, and a generally simpler cabinet style ensued.

Cabinet Veneers - Rosewood & Ebonised cabinets rarely used, the majority were mahogany, though a few Walnut (less figured) and Oak veneers used - sometimes solid oak models made for schools. Many cabinets were heavily stained.
